The
Rochaforte Ceramic Ltda. is a company dedicated to the
production of ceramic plates for floors and wall. It locates
in the city of Cordeirópolis, interior of the state of
São Paulo. Its origins remount to 1952, when the São José
Ceramic was created for production of bricks and tiles.
Later, the company started to manufacture drained elements,
laminated bricks and ceramic blocks, under the name TRIUNFO.
In
the year of 1969, the production of enameled ceramic tiles
began, under the name Ruy R. da Rocha Ceramic Products
Ltd., with production of 60.000 m2/month. In 1976, it
was implanted the enameling process and production in
bi burning. The production process in mono burning started
to prevail in 1987.
In
1998, it was officially created the Rochaforte Ceramic
Ltda., using the fictitious name of ROCHAFORTE, passing
the capacity of the production of the group from 600.000
m2/month to 1.800.000 m²/month. With a current working
power of 900.000 m2/month, the Rocha Ceramic counts on
representatives in practically the whole national territory,
besides exporting to countries of the Americas and of
the African continent.
